THK LSR05 Concept:
Presented at Japan Mobility Show and Paris Auto Show.
I was tasked with developing the design for the interior as well as a creating a UX strategy for all passengers. This endeavor involved working tirelessly with the fabricator vendor in Tokyo to validate every design decision, make millimetric adjustments in clay, decide on the colors and materials as well as throughly test the UI in the working prototype.
UI Design
The vehicle’s main screen is divided into a hierarchy of interaction:
Critical information for the driver, secondtier such as navigation and communication and third level for passenger entertainment.
Detail design.
Some of the detail design is inspired by Japandi as well as modern interior design with subtle “shy lighting”. The speaker design combines sound and light

The process from concept to showcar was done by a small team of desigers lead by Shiro Nakamura. The team consisted of Han Bin, Felipe Garcia, Mamorou Aoki, Joe Zhou and an incredible team of clay and CAD modelers.
